The next story I've started is a Ranma 1/2 fanfic -- or more precisely, a Ranma 1/2 crossover fic...
For those of you who've never heard of it, Ranma 1/2 is the story of a young martial artist named Ranma Saotome, who finds himself in this unique situation...
A: He has been engaged to a girl, Akane
Tendo, against his will;
B: He also has at least two other fiancées who are fighting
over him;
C: He's been on training trips his whole life, so he has absolutely
NO idea how to deal with girls;
D: Oh, and did I mention the bizarre curse that actually changes him
into a girl when hit with water?
And that just barely begins to cover the strange circumstances surrounding Ranma Saotome.
That being said, I have to explain that this fanfic doesn't actually have Ranma in it... It takes a character from Buffy the Vampire Slayer, of all places, and drops her into the Ranmaverse. (No, it's not who you're thinking.) This fic has the working title of "Be Careful What You Wish For..." So far, all I've finished is the teaser. Tell me what you think...
